This is a picture with a man standing in front of egyptian riot police(top of page)
overall, it presents the idea of civil unrest and how there are drastic levels of protesting going on in egypt.
This photograph sways you into thinking that there are really bad levels of unrest and that people there are livid over the current government.
although the journalist did a really good job, I think that he/she use a larger shot, as the actions here seem out of context (it didn't seem as all protesters act this way) http://content.usatoday.com/communities/sciencefair/post/2011/01/gorilla-walks-like-man-/1
this is a really interesting picture of a walking silverback gorilla.this picture is interesting because normally gorillas do not walk upright. The photographer really catches your eye (although many things like this are photoshopped, this was taken by an ape locomotion researcher. overall, the photographer had an effective photo. http://www.hiroshima-remembered.com/history/nagasaki/image3.html
This is a really powerful image.A mushroom cloud itself isn't amazing, although the symbolism behind it- death, decay and just utter destruction has extreme power.
This overall gives you a sense of destruction; mushroom clouds symbolize nuclear explosions. The photojournalist beind it captured an extremely powerful image.
Mrs. Pantel's comments:
You are starting to use some powerful words (sway, symbolism) in your writing. You needed to make longer comments on the photos and answer more of the questions that I gave you to use as starting points to effectively evaluate a photograph. After a period please put 2 spaces, and capatalize the first letter in all your sentences. This just makes your writing easier to read.
